Hi

My organization is getting ready to embark on a JDE 9.0 HCM implementation. Payroll is not part of this implementation and Phase I will include HRIS, Organization Management, Time and Labor, Employee/Manager Self Serve and Benefits Enrollment.

Today our HR funtions are run on a ABBRA and Microsoft Excel.

I have read mainly bad reviews of JDE's HCM product. I am very interested in how HCM implementations have gone at other locations and how the software works for your organization.

I am moving from the area of JDE Sales and Distribution, Logistics, Transportation, and Advanced Pricing into this HCM arena so I am not new to the JDE platform. I have seen it improve from 8.0 and am hoping that the information I have is related to eariler releases of HCM.

Thanks in advance for you time!

Hi Kathie, I support our JDE 9.0 applications at the City of Olathe, including HCM. While it can be challenging, I believe it's a great product! If you'd like to talk further, please e-mail me at smills@olatheks.org. Have you heard about the EnterpriseOne HCM SIG? Please visit our SIG page to learn more about the group, and to view the information on our monthly conference calls.

We had a very good implementation. It was the first month that was the hardest, for the HR team to understand the concepts, but once they started getting their report in the format they required, the number of enhancements kept flowing. Its a never ending cycle after that
