What is an Affiliate Organization?
In the Oracle user community, there are many customer organizations -- ranging from geographical groups with varying areas of focus (local, regional, national) to special interest, product and industry specific groups. Like Quest, these organizations are devoted to helping users further their knowledge and experience greater networking opportunities. Quest has relationships with many of these like-minded user organizations to benefit our mutual stakeholders and achieve our shared goals.
Why become an Affiliate of Quest?
If you are part of an existing user group, no matter what the focus, having your group affiliated with Quest International Users Group would be beneficial. Affiliated allows us to share of a wealth of information and benefits with your organization, providing greater value for our members and yours.
Quest is an international, not-for-profit, user-driven organization that is a catalyst to maximize users' business investment through the power of our community, tools and experience. If your organization shares that type of mission, you should consider becoming a Quest affiliate.
We provide a wealth of information to assist user group leaders in running their groups. These resources include example bylaws, financial statements, executive committee position descriptions, a slew of meeting logistic templates, and more. There is also a user group forum where you can share best practices with your user group leader peers.
There is no cost to your user group or your members to become a Quest affiliate.
