Mulhern has written two books on leadership, Everyday Leadership: Getting Results in Business, Politics and Life and Be Real: Inspiring Stories For Leading At Home And Work. He is co-writing A Governor’s Story with his wife, Jennifer Granholm. The book, which is scheduled for release this year, discusses leadership during difficult times and periods of intense change, focusing in particular on how Granholm led Michigan out of its major economic meltdown. For more than ten years, Mulhern has been writing an acclaimed blog, “Reading for Leading,” which is received directly by a growing list of 13,000 readers. In addition, he hosts a weekly talk radio show, “Everyday Leadership: Making Work Work,” which is broadcast across the state of Michigan on the Michigan Talk Network.
