PeopleSoft at Quest West

We were so excited to get the PeopleSoft community together for an event in the West as the community hasn’t had a regional conference there in awhile, however, at one week out we still have low PeopleSoft turnout and do not feel it would be the best use of our communities valuable education dollars to attend as we will have to cancel the PeopleSoft content at this event.  The committee doesn’t feel the customers, speakers or vendors would get what they’d hoped.

We did want you to know we had an amazing effort via email, phone and mail campaigns to Quest’s database of approximately 3,500 PeopleSoft customers in the West.  We also had several additional PeopleSoft customer groups communicating this message out, but it just doesn’t seem the community in the western region has the time and/or funds available to make a go of this at this time, despite our early findings prior to setting up the event.  We have had great traction among PeopleSoft customers in the Northeast for our conference this past July and we already have very high energy around PeopleSoft registration and presentation submissions for Quest Midwest.

I would encourage you to plan instead to attend Quest Midwest, November 7-9 in Rosemont, Illinois. We have partnered with the PeopleSoft conference LINK to make our PeopleSoft offerings there even more robust than usual. This event will have a one, two and three day option for our PeopleSoft customers because of the partnership.  We are just in the planning phase now, but you will see some of the same sessions at Midwest as at West, plus many more and we’ll have some development people from Oracle there as well.

If you can’t travel, we do have many online series coming up this year that can be accessed.  Check out what’s live now or if you are looking for something specific, email education@questdirect.org. We will continue to work with the regional user groups in the area to try and re-engage more PeopleSoft customers and they will still have their own local events to help grow user group participation as well.  You can access their meeting schedules here.

Thanks so much and we do hope you understand our decision.  Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns at registration@questdirect.org.
