We believe that volunteer and staff member growth will lead to customer growth and, ultimately, organizational growth. As an organization, we believe we have the power to be a leader in our industry. We want to be the ones driving the change to which others have to react.
The Value of Memorable Experiences - We believe memorable experiences are a powerful thing. To create one, you must be willing to go above and beyond. Our goal is to be a leader in our field by providing every customer with something positive by which they can remember us. We are not content to be an average organization with average service...our customers deserve the very best we have to offer them!
Relationships - Quest is an organization built upon relationships. From a business perspective, we understand that without meaningful relationships our organization is not sustainable. Our relationships are built upon trust, and trust is established through experience. We place the highest priority on our relationships, and we believe that our actions back this up - it's one of the things that sets us apart.
Resilience - Our organization has weathered many storms during its existence. Whether it was the tech bubble, terrorist attacks, a change in primary vendors, or a serious economic recession, we have experienced our share of hard knocks. However, we feel that some of our best work has been done when our backs have been against the wall. It is clear...this organization would rather go down fighting than go quietly in the night. It is this spirit that has helped us weather the storms of the past and the storms that are yet to come.
A Commitment to Serve - Not committing to serve others would bring into question why Quest exists in the first place. The sole purpose of our organization is to make a difference in our members' and customers' professional lives. As an organization built around volunteers, we understand the value of people who are willing to share their time and talents with others. Members of our Board of Directors volunteer their time, talent, and experience to serve the needs of customers around the world. Content providers, User Group leaders, and committee members are also key volunteers to the success of the organization. When it all boils down, our organization could not survive if not for the efforts of individuals who have chosen to give back in the interest of our vision.
Teamwork - The philosophy that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts is a major part of how Quest operates. We understand that together we are better and more effective than we are individually. It is impossible for us to operate in a vacuum; decisions made by one team affect other teams. Therefore, we do our best to include key stakeholders in discussions and decisions to ensure that we make the best possible decision for our members and customers.
Transparency - Amidst a world containing an abundance of dishonesty, Quest has found that transparency truly is the best policy. Through honest relationships and open communication, we are able to develop a strong sense of trust with our partners and members. They have come to expect to always get a straight answer when dealing with our organization. Our transparent approach to doing business has served us well.
We Work Hard and We Play Hard - At Quest, we work hard. Our expectations of ourselves and fellow "Questers" are high, and we push hard to achieve our goals and make our organization better. We are our toughest critics, and we believe that shows through to our members and partners in the way we conduct our day-to-day business. At the same time, we understand that life is a balance; when Quest requires more time, we know that the other facets of life have to suffer. Our organization understands the necessity of maintaining an equilibrium between work and home, and also sees the incredible dedication of our volunteers and staff members. We definitely do what we can to help our volunteers and employees find balance.
