Oracle Offers New PeopleSoft Certifications
Oracle has recently completed its first iteration of the new Off Cycle Certification program for PeopleSoft Enterprise. This program provides an avenue for new, third-party technologies such as operating systems or database versions to be certified with PeopleSoft outside of the normal development cycle.

North American Payroll Tax Updates Now Available for PeopleSoft HRMS Version 8.3
The North American Payroll Tax Updates package, an enhancement to Oracle's Lifetime Support policy, will now include PeopleSoft HRMS version 8.3. The North American Payroll Tax Updates package is offered on an annual fee basis for product versions moving into Sustaining Support for which there is sufficient customer demand. This package is available only to customers who are currently on Oracle Premier Support. Contact your support sales manager or send an e-mail to ACSinfo_us@oracle.com.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 8.97 Available
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools 8.97 is immediately available on the Update Center via Customer Connection for existing customers. Access the JD EnterpriseOne Tools pages first, then the "Implementing New 8.97 Functionality" guide. Customers who want to use business services, enhanced XMLP, effective dates for daylight saving time, developer productivity enhancements, and security enhancements will need to download the planner ESU (electronic software update) JK14575 and the baseline ESU JK14530.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial Management and Compliance Console Available
The EnterpriseOne Financial Management and Compliance Console is now generally available for 8.11SP1 and 8.12 customers and provides operational users with a collection of metrics, key performance indicators, and compliance alerts. It's also available through your local Global Customer Care Center. Please review the Minimum Technical Requirements before applying the ASU, and note that there are also special instructions included on the Update Center home page.

2008 Leap Year Setup in JD Edwards World
Be sure to verify that general accounting fiscal date patterns are set up with 29 days for February 2008 to ensure that transactions are posted correctly.
