About Your Instructor
Barbara Von Bergen
Barbara is an independent consultant experienced in all aspects of human resource systems from development of requirements through system selection, implementation, training, post implementation and maintenance. She has worked with a number of HRMS applications as a consultant and as a practitioner. She has significant hands-on experience in managing functional human resource areas including systems, recruitment, compensation, benefits, employee communication, training and development.
Barbara helped develop several IHRIM educational courses including “Managing HRMS: Post-Implementation Issues”, “Introduction to Human Resource Systems”, “Essentials for Successful Project Management”, “Successful HR Systems Selection”. She has taught a number of the offerings of these courses.
