8.12 EnterpriseOne Security and Roles Saturday, April 12, 2008 Class level - Intermediate Cost - $800
This hands-on course will cover task views and roles, as well as a review of the different types of security available. Benefits and drawbacks to each type of security will also be addressed. Upon completion of this course, students will learn how to effectively utilize and design Task Views and Roles for their organization. They will also be able to plan an effective security model within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
Learning Objectives: Students will have a comprehensive understanding of the different types of security available, how they work, and how to apply what they have learned to their company system. 8.12 EnterpriseOne Report Writing Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, 2008 (2 day session) Class level - Intermediate Cost - $1,500
This hands-on course is essential to understand the basics of report writing in EnterpriseOne. Hands-on instruction will help each student create simple business reports for their enterprise. Students will have the chance to create simple columnar group and tabular reports.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, students will feel comfortable creating basic new reports and be familiar with the various types of joins, be able to create powerful reports that include level breaks, event rules, and drill down features. _______________________________________________________________________
Working with Financial Integrities Sunday, April 13, 2008 Class level - Intermediate Cost - $800
This hands-on course will give students essential tools for analyzing and resolving financial integrity issues. Students will run reports and then review them for issues and discuss different troubleshooting tips and tricks to resolve integrity issues.
Learning Objectives: Students will learn how to run integrity reports, interpret them, identify which tables are affected, and know what steps to take to resolve integrity issues. _______________________________________________________________________
8.12 EnterpriseOne Human Capital Management (HCM) - Benefits Self-Service Saturday, April 12, 2008 Class level - Intermediate Cost - $800
This hands-on course will provide a detailed overview of the Benefits Self Service module. Students will learn functionality to allow employees to confidently manage their own benefit enrollments per their company's requirements. This course will cover self-service benefits, processing enrollments, and updating information in the system. Students will also learn how to troubleshoot challenges with the Benefits Self-Service module when setting up and processing records.
Learning Objectives: Students will review system setup, how it works, and how to apply what they have learned to the needs of their Benefits departments for managing employee benefits. Students will learn how to use enhanced functionality to increase the efficiency in the Open Enrollment Process. ______________________________________________________________________
8.12 EnterpriseOne Human Capital Management (HCM) - Using eRecruit's Enhanced Functionality for Tracking Candidates Sunday, April 13, 2008 Class level - Intermediate Cost - $800
This hands-on course will provide a detailed overview of the eRecruit module. Students will learn about the enhanced functionality for tracking applicants and internal employees applying for positions within an organization. They will also learn how eRecruit functionality allows the Recruiting Department to create and manage online job postings, track internal and external applicants, and hire candidates into the organization. Discussion will explore how eRecruit allows recruiters to search for specific candidate information over the eRecruit tables in the system, specifically eRecruit resumes, cover letters, and personal candidate-information maintenance.

Sunday, April 13, 2008 (1/2 Day session, 8 am-Noon) Class level - Intermediate Cost - $400
Many users delete the same planning or warning messages every morning, because they don't want to see them and do not intend to process them. This hands-on course will teach students how to prevent and eliminate unwanted or unnecessary messages. Learn how the MRP module works and how to set up the MRP program to deliver only the messages you want.
Learning Objectives: In this hands-on course, students will learn how to evaluate unwanted message, understand why they're getting them, and know how to permanently get rid of them in order to prevent the MRP module from re-creating them each day.

Time series is a powerful planning tool, but it can be confusing for even experienced planners. Many planners opt to ignore it, rather than take the time to learn its many uses. Time series can help your overall planning effort meet short- and long-term material requirements to meet forecast and actual demand, maintain adequate safety stock, and eliminate waste by fulfilling Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory requirements.

Upon completion recording and editing topics, participants will preview them in the available playback modes, and then publish a complete course.
