What is Infocast?
Infocast is a free online collaboration tool that allows the Quest community worldwide communicate and learn from each other. As a tool for Quest subscribers and members, it is available to anyone in the user community at no charge. With Infocast, you can post a message or reply to a message, and be alerted when new messages or replies pertinent to your needs are posted. If you are looking to locate another user with a similar experience or using a similar software/hardware structure, Infocast is an easy (and free) way to do it.
Does subscribing make me a Quest member?
No, the subscriber category doesn't provide access to all of Quest's member benefits. You can upgrade to paid membership at any time -- just email quest@questdirect.org and we will tell you how, or fill out an membership application. Individual membership in Quest costs about $245 and corporate (10-person) membership is about $995. If you upgrade to a dues-paying Quest member, you will receive:

- “Members only” Quest online resources such as the Job Bank, Member Directory, Vendor Directory, Ask the Expert, Resource Library, Evalubase access and more

If I am already a Quest member, do I also need to subscribe?
As a dues-paying Quest member, you automatically have access to all the QuestDirect tools, including some not available to subscribers. Using Infocast is as simple as updating your preferences to select the categories of interest. There is no need for a separate subscription, but it is a good idea to check your Quest profile and preference settings (both accessible online) occasionally to add any new options that become available.
I am an Oracle employee. Can I still be part of Quest?
Yes, Quest has a special category of membership for Oracle employees. It provides limited access to many Quest benefits. Please send an email indicating your interest to membership@questdirect.org and mention you are an Oracle employee.
